Made using PRR airplanes twill and dyed using Dylon cold water dye in bahama blue (I think - it's so long ago that I dyed it that I can't be sure!)
The shorts were very easy, but I had fun with the waistband elastic stretching too much as I sewed it, so had to redo it. If I'm honest, I think they are still too big around the middle but they will still fit next year, so hopefully will just fit a bit better then.
The hat is a lovely fit now and he's really pleased with it. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be to make and the patch pocket on the side went on really well, probably one of the best I have ever done.
